everything was changing. She was changing. And everything about her went along with it. Her hair. Her complexion. The way she talked. Even the way she smiled. But her thoughts- her thoughts were the most polluted of all. She hated it. She hated the fact that there was no one to blame but the person she stared down in the mirror. Face to face with the truth. It was the little things, you know? The small, minor details that only she would notice if she would be real with herself for a second or two. It always made her jump a bit. The realization, I mean. That sharp gasp that comes and goes quickly. The scariest part was that she didn’t know who she’d evolve into next. And there is nothing more frightening then not knowing who you are. It’s the darkest road one will ever have to take.
